Strengths:

Knockdown shooter with good release point at 6’8″.

Makes smart decisions. Shows promise running the Pick and Roll.

Very young. Will be 18 at start of NBA season.

Ability to draft-and-stash for 1-2 years is appealing to NBA teams.

Decent athlete. Shows ability to finish in traffic.

Weaknesses:

Despite good size, has short arms. Hurts defensive potential.

Unproven. Has not been featured player on high level European Team.

Will need to put on significant weight/strength.

Doesn’t generate Steals or Blocks. 1 Steal and 0 Blocks in 233 Minutes at Eurocup despite being 6’8″.

NBA Comparison:

Joe Ingles

Sirvydis has a lot of work to do before he can be the NBA player that Ingles is, especially defensively, but his ability to shoot over contests and run the pick and roll at 6’8″ reminds me of Ingles. Identical measurables outside of the fact that Ingles is about 30 LBS heavier. At only 18, he has time to put it on and add some more strength.

Draft Outlook:

Likely 35-45. You never know with the Euroleague guys

Ideal Fits:

He likely won’t play for a year or two so here is a list of some teams that may be looking for Draft-and-Stash type guys.

Philadelphia at 33, 34, or 42:

With 5 draft picks, they’ll likely either trade them or take at least 2 international guys. Getting young shooters around Simmons and Embiid is never a bad idea.

Atlanta at 35, 41, or 44:

Similar situation here as Philly. Atlanta is not trying to win anytime soon so this just makes sense.
