BYU had caught some teams by surprise this season. Previous to their match-up with the Huskies, BYU had taken down Wisconsin and Arizona on the road.

However, Washington would protect their home field.

The Huskies demolished BYU by a final score of 35-7. At the end of the 1st half, Washington led 21-0. Its clear by the final score that the Huskies wouldn’t give up this lead.

After being criticized for his inconstancy, Washington quarterback, Jake Browning impressed. Browning only had two incomplete passes throughout his entire game. Jake will be forced to continue this phenomenal play if UW wants to make a trip back the the College Football Playoff.

This win for Washington will certainly be a topic of conversation when the CFP committee discusses where to seed teams.

Next up for UW is UCLA.

As for BYU, the Cougars will be forced to regroup after their abysmal performance. BYU will take on Utah State next.
