With the Hokies having a very young and inexperienced defense, Boston College will need to get their offense going early. Establishing the run game will be key for the Eagles.

Steven Peoples has been shut down the past 2 games only rushing for 41 yards against UNC and 51 yards against Georgia Tech. With Boston College allowing 148.3 rushing yards per game this season, Peoples could go for a 100 yard rushing game this week and snap his cold streak.
Boston College: RB AJ Dillon
AJ Dillon is coming off a monster 149 yard rushing game vs Miami. The Hokies have been struggling on defense all year and are allowing 171.9 rushing yards per game this season. AJ could be the difference maker in this game.
Score Prediction
It will be a very hard fought game that most likely will go into overtime. Virginia Tech having come off an embarrassing loss to Georgia Tech will be looking for vengeance and will pull away in OT.
