We will be doing game-by-game predictions for every Top 25 team every week and keeping a record of our accuracy.

Record 131-40 (77%)

9 WVU at Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State’s high-powered offense is never easy to beat. Key games like a 1 Point loss to Texas, 6 Point loss to Iowa State, and a 3 Point win over Texas prove that they are among the Big 12 elite. WVU is still playing for a Big 12 chip and are scoring at an all-time high. Grier outplays Cornelius in a shootout.

WVU 35-32

12 Syracuse Vs. 3 Notre Dame

Notre Dame is 2 wins away from the CFB Playoffs and USC next week probably won’t be a huge task. This is likely the deciding game. A 4-point loss to Clemson and a 7-point mistake against Pitt are the only blemishes on Cuse’s resume. Cuse plays spoiler and upsets ND in Yankee Stadium.

Syracuse 31-28

22 Northwestern at Minnesota

Northwestern has been on a tear of late winning 5 of the last 6, losing only to No. 4 Notre Dame. Minnesota has lost to Illinois and Nebraska. Minnesota is 5-1 at home and playing for bowl eligibility so there will be some added motivation. Northwestern should pull through in a close one.

Northwestern 24-21

19 Utah at Colorado

Colorado started 5-0 and is now 5-5. That’s not good, actually that’s really really bad. Utah has lost only to ranked teams, and a very good ASU team. They’ll take care of business if they can contain star WR Laviska Shenault Jr.

Utah 42-34

16 Iowa State at 15 Texas

Texas and Iowa State are clawing and scratching, just trying to get themselves in the Big 12 Playoffs. These teams have different styles but are very even talent wise. The home team gets the upper hand here.

Texas 32-27

20 Boston College at Florida State

Florida State has had a brutal schedule of late. They came into the season with loads of expectations, but just couldn’t compete with the top teams. BC didn’t look like a top team last week. FSU upsets at home.

FSU 25-21

24 Cincinnati at 11 UCF

The 9-0 reigning national champions vs. a ranked 9-1 Cincinnati team. This game is going to be very entertaining. I think UCF wins this one close at home, wins out, and goes undefeated back-to-back seasons.

UCF 38-31

10 Ohio State at Maryland

Prior to a Michigan State blowout last week, OSU has been struggling a bit. This Maryland team beat Texas, but probably won’t catch lightning in a bottle a second time against a more talented Ohio State team.

Ohio State 40-31

Locks:

Citadel at 1 Alabama

You couldn’t pay me to watch this game as a Citadel fan. Does Citadel have fans?

Alabama 76-3

Idaho at 13 Florida

Idaho lost by 19 to the “Montana Grizzlies” last week. Yikes.

Florida 58-17

14 Penn State at Rutgers

Day 3,291 Rutgers is still bad. Penn State should get an easy win here.

PSU 38-10

Middle Tennessee at 17 Kentucky

Middle Tennessee is elite in the C-USA, but not the SEC. Kentucky should dominate them in a low scoring game.

Kentucky 27-17

Arkansas at 21 Mississippi State

Arkansas is 0-6 in the SEC and Mississippi State has an elite defense. Shouldn’t be a nail bitter.

Mississippi State 31-13

23 Utah State at Colorado State

Utah State’s only loss came against Michigan State by 7 week one. This is a very good group of 5 team.

Utah State 38-17

Indiana at 4 Michigan

Michigan is red hot and eyeing the CFB Playoffs. Easy win here.

Michigan 51-13

UMass at 5 Georgia

WhoMass?

Georgia 53-10

Oregon State at 18 Washington

Oregon State had a big win over Colorado a few weeks ago. Huge step for them. This game won’t be another step.

Washington 41-24

Duke at 2 Clemson

Clemson has been murdering teams this season. This Duke team is very good, but not Clemson good. Keep an eye out for Duke to hang around for a bit.

Clemson 38-24

Kansas at 6 Oklahoma

Les Miles will be the next head coach at Kansas. He will coach their next win.

Oklahoma 59-19

Rice at 7 LSU

Rice is 1-10. Can the SEC seriously not find better teams to play? This is ridiculous.

LSU 42-6

Arizona at 8 Washington State

The 10.5 spread is a bit low in my opinion, but maybe this Arizona team can hang with them. Probably not.

Washington State 52-31
