North Texas (8-1) suffers it’s first loss at the hands of Oklahoma. The first half was an intense game which featured a score of 29-27 with the Sooners on top. Jamuni McNeace led to the Sooners past the Mean Green with 16 points and 10 rebounds. North Texas really struggled from the field, making only 27.5% of their shots, as well as 23.1% from beyond the arch. Miles Reynolds led the Sooners with points with 17. The Mean Green can look forward to playing 3-1 Indiana State followed by 3-4 UT Arlington. As for the Sooners, they’ll can look to improve of their 6-1 start by getting quality wins over Notre Dame (6-1) and Wichita State (3-3).
