Scott Satterfield to be Named as Louisville Head Coach

After a terrible year and firing of Bobby Petrino, Louisville is to name Appalachian State Head Coach, Scott Satterfield, as their new head coach. This comes from sources within the Louisville football program that have confirmed the hiring. Satterfield has led the Mountaineers to a Sun Belt Championship at 10-2. 

Satterfield was a quarterback for Appalachian State from ’92-’95 and was more than happy to fill the head coaching job. In his six years with the Mountaineers, Satterfield had four straight 9-win seasons. And in those seasons, has gone undefeated in the bowl games paired with them. It is no shocker that Louisville viewed Satterfield’s resume as great and inclined them to hire him.
