After a really good slate of games for today, two teams advanced to the tournament championship. Houston picked up a very close win over Memphis. While Cincinnati barely escaped, with a three point win over Wichita State.
Houston(31-2)(16-2 Conf.) vs Cincinnati(27-6)(14-4 Conf.)
Houston has prided themselves all season on their defensive prowess. The Cougars have one of the best defenses in the nation, only allowing 61 points a game. I think this defense will be able to carry them to another win. As Cincinnati has a below average offense, averaging only 72 points a game. What Cincinnati lacks in offense, they make up for in having a great defense of their own. The Bearcats only allow 62 points a game on the defensive end. This game will come down to whoever can create turnovers and turn those turnovers into points. I think that team will be Houston. Bearcats:60 Cougars:66
