After an insane day of matches for day three of the AAC Tournament, four teams moved on. To start the day, Houston beat UConn in a blowout. Then Cincinnati had a very comfortable win over SMU. While Memphis then had a huge upset win over UCF. Then to end the day, Wichita State had an upset win over Temple.
Memphis(21-12)(11-7 Conf.) vs Houston(30-2)(16-2 Conf.)
Memphis had a great run in the AAC Tournament, but it will end here. Houston will take advantage of a very poor Memphis defense. The Tigers give up 75 points a game. While Houston has a very good offense that averages 76 points a game. Memphis will also get slowed down by a very good Houston defense that only allows 61 points. Wichita State(19-13)(10-8 Conf.) vs Cincinnati(26-6)(14-4 Conf.)
Wichita State had a remarkable run in the AAC tournament, but it will end here. The Shockers offense will run into a brick wall in the Cincinnati defense. The Bearcat’s defense only allows 62 points and with a weak offense in Wichita State they should be able to hold them to a low amount of points. This game will come to the wire Cincinnati will win.
