After another great day of tournament action, two teams advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee advanced to the championship after beating Kentucky on a game winning three point shot. While Auburn beat Florida in a very controversial no call at the end of the game.
Auburn(25-9)(11-7 Conf.) vs Tennessee(29-4)(15-3 Conf.)
Auburn and Tennessee are even when it comes to stats and in their only matchup in the regular season was a four point Auburn win. One thing that hurt Tennessee in this game was their unusual poor defense. The Vols allowed Auburn to shoot 40% from the field and score 84 points. Tennessee usually only allows 67 points a game. Auburn though, has a very good defense in their own right. The Tigers only allow 65 points a game. This game will come down to the wire, but I think that Tennessee will win in a very close game.
