Big news today in the PAC-12 as No. 1 2020 Prospect Evan Mobley has committed to USC. The 7’0″ center possesses a 7’5″ wingspan and a 40 inch vertical. Combine that with guard skills and a ton of upside as a shooter. Is largely considered the favorite for No. 1 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
A blue chip prospect going to USC (16-17 last season, 8-10 PAC-12) may be a bit of a surprise for most fans, but his older brother is an incoming Freshman at the school and his father is an assistant coach. Will be interesting to see if he can carry them to the tourney in his (likely) 1 season with the team. His game reminds me a lot of Karl Anthony-Towns. Could be a future NBA star.
